This Privacy Policy explains how VisionFit FZ-LLC ("VisionFit", "we", "our" or "us") handles information when you use the SkateFlow mobile application ("SkateFlow" or the "App").

SkateFlow is designed with privacy in mind. The current version does not require you to create an account, and your skating profile, session history and other personal app data are primarily stored locally on your device.

We are committed to being transparent about the information SkateFlow uses and how it is handled.

2. Information Used by SkateFlow

The information used by SkateFlow depends on the features you choose to use.

2.1 Information You Provide

During onboarding or while using SkateFlow, you may provide information including:

• Your name or preferred name

• Your age

• When you started skateboarding

• Your stance

• Your current skating level

• Your preferred terrain

• Tricks you are working towards

• Tricks you have landed

• Skate sessions you manually record

• Profile or deck information you choose to add

• Notification preferences

This information is used to personalise your SkateFlow experience and provide relevant skating progress and insights.

In the current version of SkateFlow, this profile information is stored locally on your device and is not associated with a SkateFlow user account.

2.2 Skate Session Information

SkateFlow may store information about your skate sessions, including information you enter manually and supported skating workouts imported from Apple Health.

Depending on the source and information available, session information may include:

• Date and time of the skate

• Session duration

• Distance

• Workout source

• Other supported workout information required to display your skating history and progress

This information is used to build your skate history, calculate progress information and support features such as Skate Load.

2.3 Apple Health and HealthKit Data

Connecting Apple Health is optional.

​

If you choose to give SkateFlow permission to access Apple Health, SkateFlow may read specific health and fitness information for features such as skate session importing and Skate Readiness.

This may include:

• Skateboarding and other supported workout records

• Workout date and duration

• Workout distance, where available

• Sleep information

• Heart rate variability (HRV)

• Resting heart rate

SkateFlow uses these signals to provide features such as Skate Readiness and to display supported skating activity.

​

Health data accessed through Apple Health is used only to provide health, fitness and skating-related functionality directly to you.

​

SkateFlow does not sell Apple Health data, use it for advertising, or send your underlying HealthKit measurements to Mixpanel or RevenueCat.

​

Apple Health access is controlled by you through Apple's permission system. You may change or revoke SkateFlow's Apple Health permissions at any time through the Health app or your device settings.

​

SkateFlow may store local copies of permitted workout information or derived values, such as a readiness result, on your device so that App features can function.

2.4 Product Analytics

SkateFlow uses Mixpanel to help us understand how people use the App and where we can improve the experience.

Analytics may include information such as:

• Screens viewed

• Onboarding steps completed

• Features used

• Whether a skate session was added

• General App interaction events

• App version

• Device and operating system information

We configure SkateFlow analytics so that sensitive profile and health information is not intentionally sent to Mixpanel.

For example, we do not intentionally send your:

• Name

• Age

• Apple Health measurements

• Sleep values

• HRV values

• Resting heart rate values

• Precise location

• Photos or media

SkateFlow does not currently require a user account, so analytics are not associated with a SkateFlow account identity.

​

Mixpanel may process technical identifiers or other information necessary to provide its analytics service.

​

2.5 Subscription Information

SkateFlow uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, purchases and premium access.

RevenueCat may process information such as:

• An anonymous or pseudonymous App User ID

• Subscription status

• Product purchased

• Purchase and renewal dates

• Trial status

• App Store transaction information

Payments are processed by Apple.

​

VisionFit does not receive or store your credit card or other payment card details.

HealthKit information is not sent to RevenueCat.

2.6 Notifications

SkateFlow may ask permission to send notifications.

​

The current version uses notifications for features such as skating reminders, readiness information or other relevant App activity.

​

Notification permission is optional and can be changed at any time through your device settings.

​

Where notifications are generated locally on your device, SkateFlow does not need to send your personal skating information to a remote notification provider to deliver them.

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

The current version of SkateFlow does not require:

• A SkateFlow account

• An email address for normal App use

• A password

• Precise GPS location for normal App functionality

• Advertising identifiers for targeted advertising

SkateFlow does not display third-party advertising and does not sell personal or health information to advertisers or data brokers.

​

If you contact us directly for customer support, we may receive your name, email address and any information you choose to include in your message.

4. How We Use Information

Information processed through SkateFlow may be used to:

• Provide SkateFlow's core features

• Build and display your skating history

• Personalise your skating profile and progression experience

• Import supported skating workouts

• Calculate and display Skate Readiness and Skate Load

• Track trick progression

• Manage subscriptions and premium access

• Send notifications you have enabled

• Understand general product usage

• Diagnose technical problems

• Improve SkateFlow

• Respond to support requests

• Meet legal and App Store requirements

We do not use Apple Health information for advertising or marketing.

​

5. Local Storage and Security

Much of your SkateFlow information is stored locally on your device.

​

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information handled by SkateFlow.

​

Because much of the App's information is stored locally, the security of your device also plays an important role in protecting your data.

​

Deleting SkateFlow may remove locally stored SkateFlow data from your device. Information held separately by Apple Health is controlled by Apple Health and is not deleted simply because you delete SkateFlow.

6. Third-Party Services

SkateFlow currently uses selected third-party services required to operate and improve the App.

​

These include:

Apple and Apple Health
Used for App distribution, purchases and optional HealthKit functionality.

​

RevenueCat
Used to manage subscription status and premium access.

​

Mixpanel
Used for product analytics and understanding general App usage.

​

These providers process information under their own privacy practices and applicable agreements.

​

We deliberately restrict the information sent to analytics and subscription services and do not intentionally send Apple Health measurements to these providers.

7. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on where you live, different legal bases may apply to the processing of personal information.

​

These may include:

• Your consent or explicit permission, particularly when you choose to connect Apple Health

• The performance of a service you have requested

• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving SkateFlow

• Compliance with legal obligations

Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law.

​

8. Data Retention

Locally stored SkateFlow information generally remains on your device until you delete it through the App, reset relevant data, or delete the App.

​

Information processed through third-party services such as Mixpanel and RevenueCat may be retained in accordance with their applicable retention policies and our legal or operational requirements.

​

Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.

​

We aim not to retain personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

9. International Data Processing

VisionFit FZ-LLC operates from the United Arab Emirates.

​

Some service providers used by SkateFlow may process information in other countries.

​

Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including the right to:

• Request access to personal information held about you

• Request correction of inaccurate information

• Request deletion where applicable

• Restrict or object to certain processing

• Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent

• Request information about how your data is processed

Because much of SkateFlow's information is stored only on your device and is not connected to an account, VisionFit may not possess or be able to identify some of that information remotely.

11. Children and Younger Users

SkateFlow is a general skateboarding application and is not designed specifically to collect personal information from children.

​

The current version does not require an account, and personal skating profile information such as age and skill level is stored locally and is not intentionally included in analytics.

​

If you are under the age at which you can legally consent to the processing of personal information in your country, a parent or guardian should review your use of SkateFlow and this Privacy Policy with you.

12. Website Information

Our websites may use cookies, server logs or similar technologies to operate the site, understand website usage and maintain security.

​

Information collected through our websites is separate from Apple Health information used within SkateFlow.

​

We do not use HealthKit information for website advertising or tracking.

​

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as SkateFlow changes, including when we introduce new features, technologies or data practices.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy identifies the most recent version.

​

Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
